Let me preface this review by explaining that I never write reviews, but that I genuinely felt the need to write one for Chris Gomes because he offered such excellent service and I hope other people looking for an amazing real estate agent would find this review helpful and will also be more than pleased to work with him. Chris and I connected via Zillow in the summer of 2019 when I was looking to purchase my first home in Chicago. Chris is extremely professional, responsive to the point where he was always(!) available to answer the millions of questions I had and he is very knowledgeable of the Chicago real estate market and the process of buying / selling homes. When we went to open houses and showings together, he always arrived early, built rapport with the listing broker and was fully prepared not to sell
me on a home, but to provide invaluable counsel during the tour by pointing out things that may need repair later on, by highlighting features that are typical for the area and by sharing his love and knowledge of real estate. Chris genuinely cared for me to find the perfect home and was the objective voice you need in an emotional purchase. He also recommended a team (attorney, lender, etc) that is world class and made the purchase so much easier. Overall, I could not have asked for a better real estate agent for my first purchase in Chicago.

Chris went above and beyond as a fantastic adviser in my first- time buying experience. Chris knows the Chicago market well and keeps up-to-date on activity across neighborhoods.
